Welcome to the European Summer School
"Mathematics of Cell Physiology and Proliferation"
Termoli (CB) - ITALY, June 1999

In the same spirit and hopefully with the same success as the first Summer School "Biology and Mathematics of Cell Proliferation", which took place in St. Flour (France 1997), a second Summer School of mathematical biology, centered on the "Mathematics of Cell Physiology and Proliferation" will take place in Termoli (CB, Italy) between June 6 and June 19, 1999.

The School is organized by the French Society for Theoretical Biology (SFBT), and by the Centro Fisiopatologia Shock (CFS) and Istituto di Analisi dei Sistemi ed Informatica (IASI) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR). It is sponsored by the European Commission, by the City of Termoli, by the Progetto Strategico Biomatematica of the Italian National Research Council, by the Instituto CNR di Analisi Sistemi e Informatica, by the Centro CNR di Studio per la Fisiopatologia dello Shock, by the INSERM (Institut National de Sante' Et Recherche Medicale), by the Societe' Francaise de Biologie Theorique (SFBT).
